Samuel hasn't had many opportunities to interact with his cousins who live just over an hour away. Before you criticize me for ignoring family, let me remind you of our decision to protect Samuel's fragile lungs over the past two years by avoiding contact with other children. Especially sweet ones. Who want to hug a lot.
Like his cousins.
After surviving this last cold with surprising ease, we decided to throw caution to the wind and break out of isolation when his cousins came to visit on Friday night. I won't say that I didn't use half a bottle of Germ-X though...
We all went out to eat together and Samuel surprised us by eating 4 or 5 HUGE french fries. Then, we spent some time at the park letting the kids play together.
With all of the pictures I took of us eating out, you'd think we were at Disney World!
The cousins: Samuel, Caleb, Eleanor, and Madeline. You may remember this post about Eleanor, written last July (has it really been that long!?!)
He's electrifyin'!
Caleb was so sweet with Samuel. You can tell he has had a lot of practice with little ones by being such a good big brother.
"Aunt Jessica, I see you!"
We had such a great time and look forward to many more opportunities for these kiddos to play together!
So cool! There are so many fun things waiting for you guys this summer! Keep eating those fries, too, buddy. So proud of you!
