Michael, Sarah, Samuel, and Annalee Pope live in the growing town of Bentonville, Arkansas. Michael, who is originally from Zimbabwe, works as an intern architect for a local firm. Sarah is a former first grade teacher who taught for three years before unexpectedly delivering Samuel at 24 weeks gestation. She has chosen to stay at home with him in order to accommodate his busy therapy schedule and continued need to stay isolated from potentially harmful viruses such as RSV. With Samuel's unexpected arrival came the beginnings of this blog. He is a miracle baby who has a current love of tractors, dirt, and all things BOY! Annalee, is our sweet baby girl who is growing by leaps and bounds each day.

August 2003 - We meet at Ouachita Baptist University and begin dating in the spring of 2005.
December 2006 - We spend a month with Michael's family in southern Africa.
June 2007 - Michael proposes in Marlon Blackwell's Towerhouse.
July 2008 - We marry on a beautiful (and hot!) summer day.
March 19th, 2010 - Our little boy, Samuel, is born at 24 weeks gestation.
July 27th, 2010 - Samuel is discharged from Arkansas Children's Hospital after 125 days.
March 19th, 2011 - Samuel is one year old.
March 19th, 2012 - Samuel is two years old.
January 8th, 2013 - Our daughter, Annalee, is born at 32 weeks gestation.
March 19th, 2013 - Samuel is three years old.
