Tulsa Zoo Trip 2011

Saturday was the perfect day for a trip to the zoo with my side of the family.  We enjoyed the sunshine and the opportunity to get out and about for one last trip into public domain.  Although we are already weeks into cold/flu/rsv season, I felt very secure in taking Samuel to the zoo - with all of its fresh air, wide paths, and open spaces.

Here are a few pictures of our day (ironically, we didn't manage to get a single picture of the kids with a wild animal!)
.
I didn't know riding a turtle was this much fun!
.
.
Flying high with mommy.
.
.
Of course, we HAD to play on the playground train!
.
.
"Choo-choo!"
.
.
Samuel's cousins took him for a ride on the zoo truck.
.
.
He was so exhausted that we gave him his pacifier (hoping he would nap some!)
.
.
But then he met a finger-lickin' goat...
.
.
and a few other little monkeys just like him!
.
.
His favorite part of the day was riding the train around the zoo.
.

At the end of the video, you can hear him say, "Choo-choo!"
.
