The Progression of Things

This post was supposed to be in celebration of being home longer than we were in the NICU.  Time got away from me, but here it is at LAST!

Just to show you how Samuel has changed since we came home at the end of July......

Pjs that he wears today and pjs that he came home in.

A shirt and hat he can wear now and the first shirt and hat he ever wore (he was 2 and a half pounds.)

Diapers through the months....I'm just missing a preemie diaper.
micro preemie, newborn, size 1, and size 2 diapers

When he came home, he was taking 40mls of milk per feed.  Now he takes 160mls.

Look at the frog behind Samuel's head....we even had a little towel under his bottom in the picture to the left.  He looked so sickly!  I'd forgotten.

Daddy feeding Samuel on Saturday mornings.

Sleeping in his carseat.

The picture on the right was taken today.

And to think that sweet baby started out looking like this.  If it doesn't make you believe there is a God, I don't know what would....

  3. Your baby is absolutely, positively beautiful! My family and I have been following your little miracle almost since day 1 and I can't believe how healthy he is now. I have been praying for y'all all these months and I am in complete awe of what God has done. When I saw these pictures I became soooo happy and excited for you and Michael! You have an amazing gift from God!
