The Fire Station

Yesterday, we had an opportunity to tour the local fire station with a few of Samuel's friends.  The firemen were so sweet and accommodating...especially considering they were giving the tour to three children under the age of four!  They didn't even seem bothered by Samuel's rather persistent sobs when we had to move away from the firetrucks.

The kids were able to sit in the trucks, walk around the bay, and watch a fireman get dressed in his suit.  Although Samuel was solely interested in the firetrucks, I found all of it fascinating.  I can't wait to take him back next year when he can understand everything a little more.

Samuel, with his friends Sela and Raquel!

He was not happy to have the fireman put him in the truck and wanted down right away.  Guess we'd better stick to driving the car with Daddy!

Watching the fireman get dressed.  The kids were a little hesitant once the mask went on.
